It was 6:00 at night so it was dark out and the guy was crossing Route 31 against a red light. Whether or not driver inattention played a part, I can't say... but the bulk of the blame falls on the victim.

ianimal - That is the pedestrian that was struck last week that you are referring to. Another was hit last night nowhere near a traffic light.
I was caught in both accidents trying to get home last night. Took an extra hour to get home. I suspect the roll over was somebody trying to pull into the Dunkin Donuts? I'm not sure. The cars were already on the trucks when I went by.

maja2 Press Release (12/20/18): Criminal Mischief Arrest And A Warrant Arrest.
On 11/19/18 at 8:46 a.m. the Hackettstown police responded to Irma & John’s Jewels (204 Main St) in reference to a criminal mischief complaint. Through an investigation, it was determined that on 11/19/18 at 2:55 a.m. a suspect used a rock to break the front window of the business. Through surveillance video, it was revealed that 23yro Luis Enrique Rivera-Cerra of Hackettstown, NJ was the suspect. On 12/12/18 police observed Luis walking on Main St and was taken into custody. Luis was charged with criminal mischief and released pending a court appearance.
Should probably check his immigration status too... Oh I forgot that's racist now...
