Home Instead Senior Care/Home Helpers Reviews

I'm looking into senior care for my mother (eg driving to doctor appointments, run errands). I found some information for Home Instead Senior Care and Home Helpers. Does anyone have experience in using on or both of these services? TIA.

Why not call both and ask for references?

I called around about 8 yrs ago for MIL. OMG!! They were so expensive. We opted to do it ourselves.

Crazy expensive - find someone on your own if possible. Maybe a church something along those lines.

Try calling Visiting Homemaker Service in Washington also. They accept insurance if you have it and will also see if you qualify under Medicare or Medicaid. They are great people to work with.

Visiting Home Makers of Warren County have Certified Home Health Aids, and Volunteers. They are not a franchise, and have been in Warren County forever. Great staff always eager to help, and their rates can't be beat.
