Army Wives

Anyone familiar with the show, Army Wives, who has also lived on a similar army post? Curious to see any similarities and differences in Army life between the show and reality. TIA!

Watched that show - have the dvd for some if not all of the seasons.
YES, I have lived on Military base.
My dad was a Navy Lifer, so I was Navy until I was 21.

SAME: Small houses, good people, taking care of each other, TAPS played each night, RULES, our bases were MULTI-Military groups,

Sorry it has been a while since I watched it to give you differences.

I remember when I saw the trailers for that show, I new I had to watch it.

Ive been out of that life for a long time - often wonder what bases are like these days..

I have never seen or heard about the show- not even a commercial- but I can certainly see how there could be a show after my years in the Army. You want drama?

Lets just say- I would NOT be married and in the Army. Even for the families that lived off post.
