There must be some joke about the cows coming home here somewhere....

Here's a bad one:

Why did the cows return to the marijuana field?

It was the pot calling the cattle back!

check the meat department at weis they may have ended up there

Maybe the cows got "tipped" and moved along

They are there sometimes. You have to catch them out in the field on a nice day!

Greg, not that bad. Gave me a chuckle this morning.

Does anyone remember when weis and home depot and the like weren't even there and the cows had larger land to graze. :x

I remember when Mansfield Village wasn't even there. It was a dairy farm.

Sometimes they are up in the higher field-not as easy to see. I think there's only a handful of cows there now. I've seen within the last month or so.

They were there yesterday. Grass is just a little too tall.

If anyone has any pictures of what the area looked like when it as a dairy farm. I'd love to see them. Please post.

I have been past there several times a day for the past week. They are not there!, Not hiding in the tall grass, or at the top of the hill, in good weather and bad. Cows do not shrink in the rain so weather has nothing to do with it.

I saw four cows in the field near the top of the hill last Tuesday or Wednesday. The grass is pretty high so I could only see them from the road between Weis and Panera.

Maybe they mooooved?

Sorry...couldn't resist.

Re: Cows on farm on Allen Road near Weis

It must be Monday mow-day, because I see them out there right now.

Thanks for the proof Sue. Finally saw them myself today, can sleep better now.

They look like Hereford beef cows, so best not to get too attached.

Greg,
I don't hear many jokes, funny or not, but yours made me laugh.
Thanks.

Last Thursday July 13th I spotted 4 of them grazing shoulder to shoulder facing Allen Road and 1 grazing pointed in the other direction. Typical predator protection pattern.

These must be a different breed than last years cows, they are hardly ever out in the fields while I used to see them almost every day .

Someone should put out Hav-a-heart traps and save these poor domesticated animals.
