High incidence of terminally or seriously ill children in the area?

I am curious about what seems to be an alarming number of elementary aged children being diagnosed with serious illness here in Hackettstown. Over the last several years I know of 3 children from Willow Grove who have passed away and a few others who were or are ill. It seems like an astounding number of children for such a small area. Does anyone have any ideas? I am seriously concerned.
