Seeking Good Fish N Chips

Jo Salt GAstropub has Whale and Chips. I swear the fish was bigger than my head and absolutely delicious.

Tracy If the timing fits, look for a local group doing a Fish n Chip Dinner- but always go with Tastefully British. They bring the fish fresh from the port that day. Wonderful!

Jen Chippery Menu looks tasty but a bit pricey and 38 mile drive. The Cod Strips and Wings Combo looks like a good deal!
LittleRascal Since you mentioned picking them up, you might want to try making the fish yourself. It's easy, and my all time favorite is Martha Stewart's "beer battered cod" recipe. You can google the recipe. That plus a bag of frozen fries you fry yourself and some malt vinegar, and he should have a very happy birthday! :)
