Hair salon
I searched for past posts about this and didn't really find anything. Can anyone recommend a great hair salon? I feel like I'm never unhappy but never super happy either. Looking for a haircut (layers) and possible color/highlights. Any recommendations?

HappyTeacher I have been going to Salon Jimarjo for several years now and I love it there. Those that know me know I take pride in my hair and receive compliments all the time on the way my hair looks. Any of their stylists including Robin, the owner...can do just about anything you want done with your hair. Tel. 908-813-2662
Joyful Lynn's Personal Image Salon in Mansfield. It's in strip mall by Star Bucks on Rt 57.
I go to Karen, but most hair stylists there have many years of experience + are great.
Everyone is really friendly....just love it there!

Paula Pete at "Downtown Barber Shop" on Main Street is a true artist with hair of any type. I feel like a movie star after every cut. Highly recommend!
scottso Monica at Holistic Hair on Main Street...next to Topo....she is awesome and uses healthy products for the hair and scalp. So very knowledgeable and she gives a scalp massage with a hair wash that can put you to sleep.

HLamusesme Does anyone know how much a cut is at Turning Heads? I am in need of a haircut and looking for a new place around hear. Heard great things about them, but always forget to call during the day to ask!
Rmmjs I love Turning Heads. I'm relatively new to the area and was so pleased when people referred me to this place. Stephanie colors and cuts my hair and I've been going to her since August. She's exceptional.
To answer Rmmjs's question, the price of a cut at Turning Heads might depend on the stylist and the amount of hair you're having cut. One thing I really appreciate about TH is that they don't have different "levels" of stylists. I've personally never liked that concept. They just hire good stylists, period.

Adair Moore Sattely Has anyone tried Entourage in the trade zone? If so, anyone you can recommend? Also, how about the walk ins in the area? Anyone try them and can recommend stylist? Someone recommended Amy in Washington. Was she the same Amy that used to work in the Walmart salon?
Eddietheeagle Has anybody tried the Beauty Bar by Luiza on Rt. 46 in Budd Lake? If so, were you happy and who colored and/or cut your hair?

Louise Louise, Did you go to Amy at 'Walmart' recently? She left Walmart about 2 years ago and was at Tangles in Washington on Rt. 57. Is she back at Walmart?
Mrs. Pipes, I was referred to The Beauty Bar from a friend and I had a cut and blow out back in July. I'm very low maintenance when it comes to my hair, but I hadn't had a cut in nearly 2 years, so wanted something besides Supercuts. I was very pleased. I'm returning in November. I had Stephanie do my hair. Very nice.

Yes, Amy is now back at Walmart. I can't wait to see her for my next haircut and coloring. :-)
I used the Beauty Bar for "wedding hair" on September 2nd. My nephew was getting married and I didn't want to have to deal with my hair.
Stacy did my style, price was VERY reasonable, looked great, lasted all day/night and didn't give me a "hair headache". I was very pleased, and will give them a try when I need my next cut. When my sister (mother of the groom) - saw it she said she had wished she had my hairstyle.
