Have 3 kids there. Apparently there was a male with clown face sending threats from quick check in Washington. All beware!! I heard that they r holding people up with these clown faces in pburg as well.

My husband works in Morris cty and they had a "clown" on the property today. They called the cops (a high school borders the property). He said the cops brought the k9 in and they caught the clown. Unreal.

Have connections in the school. Lock down lasted about 10-15 minutes. No more than your average lock down drill. Probably was just a drill.

We normally do not respond on this site but to clear things up we will. Yesterday the Hackettstown Police received a report of an armed individual running through the yards in the area of Washington Street. The High School and Middle school were both placed in lockdown. The individual was located, had a black airsoft handgun however he was just playing with his friend. The lockdown was lifted after a short time. Sorry guys no clowns.
