Estate sale companies
Has anyone used a company, to conduct an estate sale, for contents of a house? We are thinking about trying that route. Google just is hours of ads, and can't find the info.
I would be interested in the name of any companies, that you may have used. How does the process work? Do they pick up or have the sale at the house. Seating? Commissions? Where do I begin? What questions should I ask? How was your experience, etc. I value the opinions of the HL'ers. You people have always so helpful. Thanks, my friends.
I've never done it but you can see the most popular ones here and get their websites:

I used A New Home Estate Sales and they were great. They're local and were very organized, knowledgeable and honest. This is their website: anewhomeestatesales.com
Thanks, MD. Actually that was a post from last year, but guess what? I needed this, to get me moving, on cleaning out,50 years worth of "valuable collectors items", LOL. So, yes... we still have to look into an estate type auction, as there's just so much stuff. Will attempt to do another garage sale, this year... and hagglers from the other forum, ...stay away! (Just kidding, of course). Spring cleanout time, again. Anyone who wants to share info and pricing on companies... keep 'em coming. Thanks!
Sparks - a friend of mine works for Pink Dog Estate Sales. They are not local, but do sales all over the place. I have never used them myself, but my friend always tells me how successful the sales are. Their website is: http://pinkdogsales.com/services.html Good Luck!
