Gun shots?

Is anyone else hearing what sounds like gun shots on the west end of town? Last night and again today, I'm hearing what sounds like shotgun fire.

It's turkey season, but if you heard it today (Sunday) it's probably someone target shooting or sighting in their gun because there is no turkey hunting on Sundays.
