Student Debate/Public Speaking

Hello - I am wondering if the Hackettstown Schools offer any type of debate or public speaking group? Or if there are any outside the school system for kids?

Washington Boro elementary School hosts a number of Public Speaking/ Drama/ Debate
opportunities for schools in the area, for grades 3 thru 6th. Check with your school to see if they take part in these events which are held at the Memorial School through out the year.

I believe there is a debate team at the Hackettstown Middle School and know that the Hackettstown High School has a Mock Trial team. There is also a Political Club which encourages debate and discussion, but of a more informal variety (except for the Mock Presidential and Gubernatorial Debates, but they are "seasonal").
