Mothers Day Brunch?

Where is a good place to go for a Mother's Day brunch that is good quality food that won't cost my arm to pay? Thank you!

Long Valley Brew Pub has the best brunch around, I think. They are hosting the Mother's Day brunch. I don't know how much it is, but the regular brunch is about $17 a person. There's usually a ton of food, and Stuff you don't normally see at a brunch. Not just a few breakfast items and one hot dish.... Really good, I'd recommend it.

Use the search feature. Like Easter, there is a thread every year about this and the same places are recommended over an over.

There is also a thread every year for Easter Brunch. The places are also the same from year to year, and the same as Mother's Day.

Perona, Mattar's, and Black Forest are all really good but maybe more than you budgeted. I'd suggest Pandan if you like Asian, or Stella G's is not. Both good but not as expensive.

Centenary College has a great Sunday brunch.

Make something at home and involve the kids. Find some good egg casserole dishes and make that and buy some OJ. Your wife will appreciate that more anyway - as long as you clean up afterwards =) Going out ALWAYS sucks. Never have had good service or good food on a mother's day when I went out - and its always super pricy. I would especially stay away from Pavinci's in Hopatcong - not a happy camper with my last Mother's day experience with them.

I make this every year when I host and it is gone in seconds and super easy to make. I also use challah bread from Shoprite because it is sweeter and softer. Also, when you use the softer bread you don't have to let it sit overnight - who has time for that???

Good luck in whatever you decide!

I agree with Natalie......besides they never clean up like I do. I want to see my kitchen clean as I left it.

There are many places I have gone that had great service and wonderful food. Mattars, Minebrook Golf Course (many years ago), Pandan Room, Stella G's (reservation recommended) and my favorite is Black Forest as GC mentioned.

Make sure you tip well. Mothers are working on this day too!
