School delays 3/6

Heaven Sent will have a delayed opening tomorrow, Friday, March 6. Classes will begin at 10:15 am. We will not have chapel tomorrow!

Mansfield delay 2 hour but regular dismissal. Conferences are postponed

Why are we on a delay? They have all night to clear roads....and get ready. This really hurts parents that have to get to work on time...

I do agree josepcan, but the temperature is supposed to drop and that can mean black ice. I was out earlier and the roads weren't spectacular as well as the side roads (including my own in Hackettstown) weren't great and still aren't. So all of that snow will become nice and slick and could mean bad driving conditions.

I just drove from Newark to Mansfield. Rutted ice highways and local roads crusty slush ice. I can tell you why they are delayed for a trip that should have been 1 hour was 3 hours. It is very evident we are running low on salt and sand as well as OT dollars. Its a mess.
