It's only visible to those with special insight, adding to the enigma of the mystery counter.

Look closer, it will keep changing from the high 23,000,000 mark.

I know, but I'm NOT telling. ;-)

If you knew, you'd just say it wasn't worth it anyway.... Personally, I'd just let it go.

Natalie, are you on a smartphone? It doesn't show up on the mobile version, only desktop.

It's a countdown for my latest comcast outage. That's the soonest they can get here. >:(

Well, we know it's time-based, it's a count-down, and it seems to reset if you leave and come back. If it's seconds, it starts at under 300 days, a weird number.

If it is seconds, both yesterday and today the number displayed calculates the same: A countdown to Monday, November 30th, 2015. Cyber Monday.

Or... it could be a reminder to be careful?

Good advice. At work we are recovering form the Cryptowall virus, a particularly nasty bugger. A single entry point on a computer with shared access to the company network began encrypting files, effectively destroying more than 6000 before it was caught and the computer disconnected from the network. Thank goodness for backups.
