This is too funny, Quoted from another thread:

"It's not a forum to discuss people's personal lives and medical issues."

Sure looks like personal info to me... And too much.

People today put too much personal info on the web, just what identity thieves are looking for.. please keep this stuff out of public forums..

Yeah, we're not giving out addresses, net worth, phone numbers, or even out real names.... nothing here a thief could use.

Altho if there are any thieves watching, I'll add a question to the survey:

"Do you protect your home and family with firearms?" YES. If you are found here tonight, you WILL be found here in the morning.

Current home defense weapon - winchester srx 12 gauge loaded with fragmentation slugs

Do your research on frangible rounds. Some require a solid hit against metal in order to break apart, which means overpenetration can still be an issue (drywall may not be hard enough). An overpenetrating 12 gauge slug is not going to be a pleasant experience for your nearest neighbor or two...

Even the "go-to" 00 buck will easily travel through several walls and possibly exit your dwelling.

It's a bit harder to find, but I've got #1 buck ready to go.

I'll look for that - I'm using the pdx 1 - 12 gauge ammo. Supposedly over penetration is not an issue

When I worked at Minolta some years ago, the programmer that I worked with was from Goshen farming onions and originally from Poland. I think he's a bit older than pennings, but not much.

GC: Near Goshen, New York were two towns...One was called Pine Island, New York and the other Florida, NY. Consisting mostly of Polish people and black dirt farmers very much like our Great Meadows area here in NJ. We used to go to Polka dances at the Jolly Onion Inn in Pine Island, New York...

Joyful, that's awesome. One of the things I love about Hackettstown is how reminiscent of goshen it is. Older houses, nice main st, just the overall appearance is similar. Great meadows is a lot like pine island and Florida. GM is pretty rural but nothing compared to up there, those black dirt farms are enormous.

The jolly onion has been closed down for awhile now. The area is so rural and there's so much in Middletown and Warwick that no one has taken over the property yet. While working for my cousin's lawn business up there we did a clean up there once, and the property is in major disrepair unfortunately.

I live in Washington Boro, came here to work for WCCC (the newspaper gig and this-n-that with WRNJ came later)

I've lived in the area too long, grew up at the Jersey Shore when it was much different than it is now, I'm old enough to remember watching Richie Ashburn play, old enough to have interviewed Mike Schmidt when he was a rookie ... old enough to have voted for Richard Nixon...

I'd rather be in Baltimore watching the O's, better yet, covering them in the media.

GC, I work with a programmer that "farmed" onions during some of his high school Summers. Definitely a humbling experience with life lessons. Today, I would estimate his net worth over 2 million dollars. Work ethic lessons stay with you and provide benefits in the years to come...
