Haunted Attractions 2014
Well, it's time to get this started. Who is going where and where did you go last year? I went to the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philly last year. It rained and it kind of ruined the experience. Thinking of heading to the Headless Horseman in NY state this year. Any reviews?
Friends have done the Headless Horseman and loved it. If anyone is looking for family friendly activity the Pumpkin Blaze in Croton on Hudson is amazing.
We did the Headless Horseman last year with a large group of friends and it was awesome!
Been to Jasons woods twice, waste of time and money (lots of money). Just a huge tourist trap.

Bane at the Rockaway mall is scary!!!! Friends go in together and are always separated by being grabbed inside. The props, makeup, everything make it scary. Definitely try it!

I think The Goer might be refering to the Haunted Scarehouse but it's on Dewey Avenue in Wharton not Mount Arlington). They are also hiring if anyone is looking for a seasonal job.

Has anyone gone to Haunted Scare House? We are going there tonight. We don't normally go to these things, but it's a friends b-day and that's what he wants to do. Is it any good? Kind of pricey at $22/pp IMO. We got a 1/2 price deal on Amazon Local though, so $22 for both of us.
My son is going to Corrado's this year and I'm trying to figure out the cost. Is it better to do just the hayride or pay for the combo and do the hayride and house and corn maze? What I'm asking is, is it worth it to do it all?
It was excellent! Highly recommend. As I said, not our thing but a great job all around.
Just saw this article about our own John C. wish I didn't have previous plans so I could attend this walk

You'll miss a fun investigation JrzyGirl88, and your chance to be on TV. The 9 pm - 1 am investigations will be filmed for an upcoming episode. And the location that we just secured will be fantastic!
If you want to do something free and close and real, have a walk around the cemetery on the corner of Snyder and Mt. Bethel. Be prepared, though; it IS active. I would not recommend this for children. Also not sure of regulations regarding hours - it may not be open to the public after dusk, so you'll need to find that out.
Rutherfurd Hall brings back the Hall of Haunts III - Alchemy!!!!
