Pleated Shade Repair

I'm looking for someone who repairs pleated shades. The string on one of my pleated shades has broken and I'd like to have it fixed. Does anyone know of someone who does this kind of repair work?

I called the company that manufactured my blinds and as a one time courtesy, they agreed to restring my blind. It took about four weeks to get back , but it was done correctly and for free. In the meantime, I bought the paper temporary blinds from lowe's , which were actually quite good.

If you want to do the cord repair yourself ( not hard) you can order the cords from the following on line site: www.fixmyblinds.com Measure the length of the loop uncut and the diameter of the cord to order the correct one that you need.

Thanks Amy1 & Connie for your suggestions.
We located a company in Point Pleasant Boro NJ that does shade repairs. We mailed our pleated shade to them - cost will be about $40.
Name is Slats and Pleats and their phone number is (732) 475-9300
We purchased a paper blind from Lowes for about $8 and it is a good temporary solution until the shade is repaired and returned.

Thanks again for you help!
