Recs for car transport to SC

I need to move my 1971 VW convertible beetle to SC. It does not run but it does roll, steer and brake. We move next week!!!! Does anyone know of a reliable service?

My son used FHT Auto Transport to get his jeep from NJ to CA. He had no problems.

Reliable doesn't come cheap. If you really want reliable you need a company that won't farm it out to someone else. You then have the small guys doing it one on one with great service but bigger prices:

Probably the biggest specialist in an enclosed truck is Horseless Carriage who are in Patterson. You see *a lot* of these on the road:

Not sure if this is reliable but we saw many ABF trucks on our trip to SC last year; many with cars. Just a thought. Have a safe and happy move

We can rent a tow dolly and hitch it up to our (new to us) truck. I have family I can visit on the way back up. I only offer this because we've shared some family events in Blairstown, together. :)

rent a car trailer (u-haul has them) and hook it up to a truck (i hooked one up to a u-haul truck once), i have done this and it worked well, was the cheapest way i could find. and i was with my car the whole time. so that's good. moved all my stuff and the car at the same time.
