Land of Make Believe Coupons/Passes
Anyone get the coupon book this year and not plan to use their LOMB coupon? I need two coupons, if anyone was willing to part with them. (I would totally consider trading you a different coupon from my book, provided I hadn't used it already!)
Also, if anyone won passes at a tricky tray or something, I would be willing to purchase some if you had them at a discount!
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me in my quest. :)
If you like you can at ebay.check the link below
Im trying to find one, my son's birthday is coming up.we plan to bring him and his sister there..
Thanks Bessie, just pmed you! :) taking a group of friends there in July, so excited for the kids. :)
Just curious, child activity ignorant that I am, how much is this Land of Make Believe? Seems everyone is always in search of coupons. Is it super pricey?
I posted on a different thread last week but if anyone has no use for their coupon, we would love to take our son for his first visit there! Thanks so much!
Calico, for what it is, yes, I think it's expensive, but to others, maybe not. This will give you an idea of the prices:
It's a shame that so many family activities are so expensive anymore. I know it costs about $300 for a family of 4 to even go to a baseball game with the cheapest seats.
If I come across any coupons, I will post here.
Compared to other places, it is relatively inexpensive I guess, but if you take a group it certainly adds up fast. They put out BOGO coupons on adult passes, and if they exist, I certainly don't want to go there without one, lol. Unfortunately, we're on a pretty tight budget, so without coupons, we sit in our house and stare at one another all summer. ;)
Anyone win any of the free passes they might be looking to sell at a discount?
I am also looking for LOMB coupons for my daughter's birthday. At $27 for her and $25 for each of the 9 adults going with her that's going to be a very expensive day.
Ideally I'd like to get 3 but I'll take anything I can get.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help us out.
We are still hunting for LOMB tickets if anyone has any extra they'd like to share? Thank you! It would make a little boy very happy!
Sirya- perhaps if you didnt have 9 adults traveling with 1 child, it wouldnt be so pricey for you. Adults should be paying for themselves, no?
We are looking for coupons as well. If you have any to share, we would be most grateful.
Thank you so much.
Just heard on the radio that anyone who lives in Hope and can prove residency there can get into Land of Make Believe today (4th of July) for free..
Congratulations to Weekly Winners!!!
Land of Make Believe - WIN FREE TICKETS!
sandy i have 2 extras you are more then welcome to!

Private message me!
If anyone has a coupon still and willing to give it away I can pick up this weekend thanks !
Madison's Mommy, Thanks so much but I got enough coupons for our group. Feel free to pass them on to Shoebie or Cherie! :)
For anyone else still checking this thread, I am still looking for discount passes to purchase, thanks! :)
i live down the block and have only been there once, the kids like it but its def not worth the 25$ In my opinion, they are like nazi's with the ridiculous rules over there too, not to mention its cash only which is just shady cause you know they aren't paying crap in taxes
I have Kids' Stuff Book Coupon Book Coupons that you're welcome to, Cherie. Email me.
I've gone to LOMB numerous times since my kids were in pre-school & they went w/their classes prior to regular summer season. Have gone since my kids were babies when Pirate's Cove water park was new!! And, my oldest just graduated this year!! They even made me take them 2 years ago just for 2 rides & water park! I remember going when I was 14 because my parents wouldn't leave me home by myself but my siblings were much younger.
It is a beautiful, family-owned, clean, well-run park. You can picnic within but we always bought food because food was always very affordable & tastes good. Nice staff--some of my kids' friends work there--mine can't due to obligations. The owner is committed to general H'town area--always donating tickets for various fundraisers. Overall, adults seem to forget that kids don't always like to be overwhelmed by high-tech, loud, flashy rides that are on top of each other. And $25 is EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE--a water park--slides & lazy river, amusement rides + theater show & hayride??? I can't believe more people don't complain about the cost of the Spring Festival or local Carnival prices--LOMB has overhead, salaries, upkeep & INSURANCE to pay. LOMB is great for families!!
I am also looking coupons if anyone has any extra's - would be very grateful.
Starting today and for every hour during the morning and afternoon programs on WRNJ radio they will be giving away family passes for 4 people to be admitted to the Land of Make Believe when you hear a splash sound...These are worth over $100 in value.
Blueline, it not true that they are cash only. They accept Discover, not the other cards "due to their policy on consumer fraud." (I do not know what policy that is.) I imagine a business such as that, without 90% cash and very much in the public eye, is very careful about paying taxes and other business taxes. They have too much to lose.
And the "ridiculous rules" are for everyone's safety. If more people knew how to act properly and considerately, they wouldn't need to be so strict.
One of the best things about the park is the ability to bring in your own food, including coolers. That is almost unheard of in other places. There is large area with tables to picnic, and I have always felt safe leaving our cooler off to the side for the day. I saw one reviewer complain that there is "no picnicing" signs everywhere. The signs are by the tables near the food vendors. Why should people who purchase food not have a place to sit? There is plenty of room in the picnic area 50 feet away.
My kids are older now, but they still enjoy a couple of the bigger rides and could spend all day in the water park. The price is reasonable, if you think about what it costs to go to the movies or bowling for 2 hours, plus food.
The price is very affordable. These parks are not cheap to run and who would want to own a business that didn't make any money. Not everything has to be a charity.
Thanks to Booboo I am no longer searching!! And have a coupon to pass along. It's coming in the mail so if anyone wants it PM me and we can set up a meeting place. :)
Price isnt bad, if you go just once during the season. Took my kids there about 12-15 years ago and they loved it. Don't remember the cost, but sure it was somewhat cheaper. Fun day out!
Honestly, their price is very fair for what you get. My 2.5 year old has more fun there than Disney, because at his age it's just perfect for him. (he liked the rides at Disney, but waiting in line is NOT the strong suit of a 2 year old...) Despite being a fair price, if you're taking a group the price adds up quick, and I am grateful that they issue coupons. We were so disappointed on Sunday. Our friends from Maryland came up with their children so we could take the group (the group I have been begging and searching for coupons all summer to take), and they lost power Sunday and we couldn't go. The kids were crushed. Not the parks fault at all, but what a let down. :( Thankfully the Warren County Fair had started so we did that instead, but it was so hot it would have been great to hit the water park! Hubby and I are now planning to take our son this weekend, but it would have been awesome to have his little friends along.
Season passes make great gifts for grandkids, with parent permission. My grandkids love to go there and it never seems to get boring for them. We are fortunate to live so close to such a nice, clean, user friendly park.
Abby; i have buy one adult admission get one free.. its yours if you want it.. send me a private message and will arrange transfer :) im local..
I am taking my Grand kids for there first trip to LOMB in a few weeks. Anyone else out there have any coupons that they are not going to use? We would greatly appreciate it.
I'm planning on taking my 6 yr old 2 lomb some time next week with my mother, if anyone has any coupons I'd greatly appreciate it, going 2 some place like this isn't really in my price range so any help is appreciated, Thank you!
Hello everyone, our family is planning to visit LOMB as my son's birthday is coming this month. Anyone who has extra coupons to share? I would greatly appreciate it. Can you email me at email@example.com. Thanks. We need like 6 tickets(4 adults and 2 kids)
I just spent 80 there yesterday. Tickets for myself and 2 children. It was pricey but really well worth it. No lines, fun rides for little ones, water park, make believe area, train....It's a once a year type of thing. But it was a little breath taking at first! I might have a coupon to share.
Hi looking for a bogo free for tomorrow aug 26th
Land of Make Believe bathroom filming suspect says he made child porn, prosecutor says.
Its that time of year again, if anyone has coupons they would like to pass along. There is a group of us going again this year and I have 1 coupon but if anyone is not using theirs please let me know. I can meet somewhere or send you a SASE too!!
Thanks in advance!!!
You can always donate them to the Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center. There are families in the Shelter with children that could likely use the passes. Their number is 1-908-453-4181.
catlover07840.. I am very interested in the tickets. you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm looking for a buy 1 adult get 1 free coupon if any one is willing to give one up.
I will call domestic center first...rather see it go someone in need first before giving it away
I am looking for coupons and passes as well, like I am every year, lol! Cat lover, if you can't find a place to donate your passes, I would buy them at a discount. Same goes for anyone who may have won or been given passes they don't want. I am trying to take a big group and I can't afford full price. PM me if interested with a price, thanks! :)
I'm looking for land of make believe coupons to take my two children husband and I there tomorrow. If anyone has any to spare, please send me an email to email@example.com
Bumping this up. I tried starting a new thread because I was having trouble finding this one. Found it yay!!! I have a family member who has three foster children and we are trying to keep cost low. If anyone has a kid stuff coupon they are not using. I have 8 adults going with 5 kids. Thanks in advance!!!
Cherie, when do they want to go ? I have the kid stuff book with the coupons, but right now, I am in PA and won't be home until Sunday. Message me if you are interested, and I can either meet up someplace or mail them to you.
Does anyone have any of the BOGO coupons they're not using?? I would be eternally grateful! :)
If anyone has any BOGO coupons theyre not using i will very much use it! :) I am trying to go this Sunday :)
Please and thank you in advance!
I have a BOGO ticket from the 2015 Kidstuff coupon book that I won't be using this year. Its value is $26, but I will sell it for $15 if someone wants it. They can email me and I can make arrangements to meet up locally.
If you want a "Buy One Get One Adult ticket" coupon for LOMB for only $5, here's how to do it. Just go to Entertainment.com, and you'll see the books are on clearance for only $5 (with free shipping). Just buy a book, activate your on-line account, then search for "Land Of Make-Believe". You'll find a coupon link for "Buy One Get One Adult Ticket". You can only print it once per account.
Please note, LOMB will not let you use that coupon for a child (2-18) ticket. It's only for adults, but it will save you a $26 ticket if you have two adults going.
i guess I should add a disclaimer of "Your mileage may vary" :o)
Rich, I always wonder why people don't do this. Much easier than hoping someone online chooses them over everyone else, and then they have a bunch of other good coupons to use :)
Hah, yeah, I bought 2 books yesterday just for the purpose I stated above, so I will have a ton of other coupons. :o).
Just so others are aware, many times Entertainment.com has good deals on books, but by signing up for the deal, you are agreeing to an automatic renewal membership. That is not the case right now. Right now they are only $5 with no contract or annual renewal.
Be careful at this place. They found a child molester working at this place last year. Really bad place to take your kids.
Well that is a stupid post. The place has been open for 61yrs and you base your opinion off 1 arrest in 61yrs?
Darwin, yes I'm sure just one child molester is ok with you. For me and my family, one child molester and I stay away.
That's terrible, but if you keep an eye on your kids, there's nothing to worry about. SMH!
Botheredbyuu2, the child molester recorded the boys while in the showers and lockers. I don't think how well you do or don't watch your children would be applicable in this situation.
All week this week ...morning and afternoon shows on your local radio station WRNJ, they are giving away family pack tickets to Land of Make Believe for the lucky caller......
Well if Larry and his family stay away from the park it won't be as crowded as it would have been WITH them there. Win!
Lori, while your kids are being exploited because of the lack of responsible hiring practices, I'm sure you will be ok with it. Enjoy.
The child molester that was found video taping in the bathroom wasn't an employee it was a guest
Larry, what I'm ok with is not living my life in a constant state of fear. Sadly there are probably many places that you've taken your children to where someone could've have been doing the same thing but as they haven't been caught you'll never know. How do you handle that? As long as you don't know about it it didn't happen? You must never leave your house and that's a shame. I wish your kids well...
Melissa is correct, he was not an employee. it also happened in 2012 and not last year. seems Larry needs to check his facts.
I've seen stories about child molesters everywhere, church, school, scouts, even by their own family members & the list goes on and on. Not sure Land of Make Believe is your biggest threat these day. Very sad, but very true.
Anyone kind of enough to provide coupons or passes. Trying to take my wife and 2 daughters tomorrow Aug 14. First time going. Thank you :)
ISO buy 1 get 1 free tickets for LOMB. Any help or I for would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
looking for a coupon to LOMB - if anyone has one/two, i can take it. let me know please..I see this B1G1 for adults. Is there one for the kid as well?
I'm also searching for coupons if anyone has any they can spare! Have always tried to take my kids here every summer. I noticed the prices went up a tad this year. My daughter is a year and a half now and loves the water. She'll go crazy if she sees this place, and my 9 year old son absolutely loves this place. Really hoping to be able to make it there this year.
I have two intact kid stuff coupon books for sale, with the BOGO ADULT ticket coupons inside. $15 each book. Coupons expire end of Dec, but the book can save you hundreds.
They are posted on the yardsale sites too. Needs to be picked up in Htown TODAY!
Anyone have any LOMB coupons. Taking grandkids. Savings is a blessing. Thank you in advance.
If you listen to WRNJ radio station you might be able to win four tickets that will give free entry to park. Two weeks ago I started listening to the radio station just to win tickets and I won them last Tuesday.
Going to the LAND of Make Believe today..
I would really appreciate it if anyone had a coupon they could give us!!
Hi want to take my son this weekend. LOMB
Anyone have coupons or passes info?
Please left me know.
Planning on going tomorrow. There’s a prediction of a rain shower and it’s a Thursday. Hoping for less crowds. Anyone think it will be as mobbed as the Friday I went in July?
Edit: Oh, and coupons wouldn’t hurt either ;)
Would love to take my four year old to LOMB for the first time. Does anybody have a coupon or anything that will help me save?
The only coupons I know of are the Kidstuff book coupons. The schools sell them in September. If you know someone who has one I'd ask them if they plan to use it.
All this week WRNJ is giving out family passes to Land of Make Believe with a value of over $100. Just have to stay tuned to that station and be the lucky call in winner..
Hi all- I was also wondering if anybody had any BOGO passes they were looking to pass along. I am.planning to take me two littles this summer, maybe first week of August.
It's like WRNJ can't give LOMB tickets away fast enough! I usually listen on 104.7 in Hackettstown. They usually give away 4 packs of tickets during the morning or afternoon drive programs and you could very easily win. Surprised more people don't know! I usually win a pack at least once a year, often on my first or second try. I've also seen them do 4 pack giveaway contests on their Facebook page too, might be worth a follow....You never know!
Does anyone have any Land of Make Believe coupons or tickets they are willing to give away or sell? I am looking for as many as I can get. I can come pick. Thanks in advance
