Contorted Filbert | Henry Lauder's Walking Stick
There's a nursery on route 22 close to Whitehouse that has them. We got ours about five years ago. Grows crazy in summer. Japanese beetles love them. Looks great in winter months
Ironically I have never heard of them but was looking on craigslist and found someone selling them. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/grd/4430564996.html
you guys got a picture of one of these?
do they really make walking sticks out of them?
Mine wouldn't be a good candidate for a walking stick, of at least not for many years. Most branches are the diameter of my pinky and about 2' long. It does make great snowman arms though.
