Water Main Breach in Oak Hill

The water in my building on Bryant Drive is shut off. Might be others too.There is water all around the building. The intersection is closed too.

I'm not sure if it's a Water Main Break or what the proper terms are, but I overheard something about a "Major Water Breach".

There are lots of trucks around here now.

They are working on it. Water mains are broken going to the buildings.

If it is a water main, why has it been two weeks plus, to date, for the main to be fixed. I know utilities are usually right on top of this kind of situation. With that said...

The intersection is closed, not meeting safety protocol, with no boil water notices, which is a regulatory requirement for ALL residents on broken service so no one comes down with certain bacteria or viruses related to "dirty" water. Furthermore, there need be detour signs alerting first responders that the intersection ahead is closed so they are not wasting time during a fire or emergency situation.

Not sure about everyone else in oak hill, but anyone wonder what our dues are actually paying for?
