I love Shopping!
Not necessarily to buy anything ( in today's economy...who always can?) but I love to go to the stores... and walk around seeing what is new and interesting. My husband hates to shop and only goes shopping when he really needs something. Anybody else like me??

Nope, I hate it. Only go when I need something and get in and get out. No browsing for me.
Calico696 Love to shop --- hate to fight looking for a parking space, then the kids running all over the place screaming, customers screaming at the salespeople..ugh! Going off hours seems best. Hackettstown Kohl's is good - can browse calmly.

Hate shopping. When I do need something, I'll go, but when I buy the thing, I want it to last forEVER.
cbel Love it! Love it! Love it! Drove to Paramus yesterday and for those shopaholics you know Bergen County has Blue Laws (no shopping on Sunday) so dealt with the traffic, the crowds and the New Yorkers who drive (like jerks) to Jersey to either avoid or pay less Sales Tax all to spend some time at Chef Central and walk out with a spatula. And it was worth the trip - that store is fantastic!
JrzyGirl88 Hate to shop because I buy on impulse. Or, I pressure myself into buying because the store is having great sales. Like today, Kohl's is having great sales starting today on household items..I happen to need a beadspread, I scoped out the selection yesterday...they don't have the color I wanted, but I'll settle for another because it's a great sale!
OnlyChild oh Joyful, so glad you love it! I'm in the hate category --- in, get stuff, out!! --- HAD to go to the mall yesterday, loved the people I was with, but just hate doing it --- one of my daughters is DEFINITELY a shopper and the other isn't - Good thing there's a shopping grandma to take my one out on jaunts, me and the other can stay home!! Oh and thank goodness for internet shopping and great small local stores that are easy to get in and out of!!

Soccrgrl08 I also shop alone 95% of the time. The other 5% of the time is with my husband. Totally anti group female shopping trip.
I also enjoy "window shopping" (such an old fashioned term). These days I only buy what I "need" but I do like browsing, especially when the stores aren't crowded.
Mindy'sMom I make a list , know what I want, and get in and out of stores and malls as quickly as possible. I'm getting better at shopping on line which gives me more time for other things that I would rather do than shop...
Spring Fever I LOVE to shop. I find when I have no extra money, I want everything I see (but don't buy it), then when I have some extra money, I'm very picky, and choosy about everything (and usually don't buy anything). I do realize I'm an "it for the hunt" kind of shopper and definitely a clearance/bargain shopper. I rarely pay full price for anything, has to be on sale or have a coupon. My daughter and I will travel just about anywhere to shop somewhere new.
Bessie I am like many of you ladies and hate to shop. I make my list go get what I need and leave. I believe its the crowds. Now get me to a bunch of Antique specialty shops, Thirft shops and time will slip away from me. Hmmm the more I think about it maybe its just the malls I hate.
I don't mall shop..just went to Rockaway after not being there in ages, no need for me to go back.
As I mentioned earlier, wanted to take advantage of today's home decorating sales at Kohl's...I did my research yesterday....so this morning I remained focused on the mission...I was done in a flash and everything on sale...even bought more decorative containers in which to PILE my stuff 'cause in the other topic I confessed to being a Piler. Mission accomplished...oh, wait, now I have to put my stuff IN the containers!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SHOPPING! I even enjoy food shopping! And when I can't get out I browse the computer! LOL

Bruin Shopping is fun at times but i normaly know what I want and just go in and get it , and get out . I love to watch women shop they bounce around from rack to rack back to rack to rack and all over again . and in the end they pick out the first thing they picked up .
Caged Animal Oh you noticed that, huh, Caged??? At least you go in the store with your wife..my hubby sits outside on a bench and waits if he goes with me at all or goes to get coffee while I shop.
I absolutely hate shopping; including food shopping....my husband LOVES it and can do it for hours and hours...ugh!!!
gardens Calico, I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like to go shopping with a group! I love to shop, but I hate to feel like I'm holding up others if I'm taking too long, and I also get bored waiting around for others. Now if I'm by myself, I love just walking around, checking things out, occasionally buying something. I especially love shopping if I have coupons and there is a sale--love to see the numbers add up on the register, then have them knocked down by my coupons and sales!
Jersey Girl I would not like to go shopping with a group of people either. But do enjoy going with one of my girlfriends out for the day to see a new store or just for a afternoon out. Many times our husbands go along too and when we go in the stores..they go off somewhere for coffee and do their own thing and we meet up again on a agreed upon time. I am like Bessie and a bargain hunter. Never liked to pay top dollar especially when I found I could get that same item someplace else a lot cheaper..
I deplore shopping. I would much rather spend my time pursuing my hobbies, going to a museum, seeing a film, reading, being with friends.
