Freakonomics

Any Hackettstonians who viewed the documentary Freakonomics? Just watched it recently on HBO and enjoyed it. Big fan of Steven Levitt for proposing a highly believable and statistically supported alternate theory on the big 90's crime drop...one that doesn't inflate Guilliani's hero status. Also featured the deadly dark side of Sumo Wrestling. Awesome.

If you liked the movie - you'll **love** the book!

I second that...the book was great!

Chiming in with "you'd love the book!"
I have a copy, if you'd like!

Saw the movie too (haven't read the book). It really boggles the mind....
I also found The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, which is along the same lines, to be really interesting.
