Post a strange or crazy or unflattering picture of yourself thread
Thought this might get interesting.
This picture of me I think meets all three criteria. It's awful in every way! I was in India and decided to sit down with this street performer (why??) and he put the gross snake around me and I was freaking out while trying not to show it (hence the really weird expression on my face). And oh, that red lipstick. What was I thinking?
A bad situation all around.
Next?
Can I cheat and post bizarre unflattering pictures of my mom?? I've got like 50 of them but I know for a fact I would be in severe trouble for years...
as I plan on attending the Happy hour on Thursday and most of you don't know what I normally look like I think I might just have to revisit this thread later.... :)
All mu incrminating pictures have been destroyed. LOL! I do have a good one of my wedding day though. Will have to dig it out and scan it.

Perhaps we are creating our own awkwardfamilyphotos.com? You might recognize some of the pics - Target carries AFP cards now...
What we do for our pooches. It was pouring, but Mr PorkChop needed his walk! He fared much better than I did, LOL
I am loving my fellow brave women! Funny pics, ladies.
(Wild Angel, that is SOME sweater.)
Guys???
It's kinda funny how you form a mental image of a person's look from their posts - their grammar & spelling; their phrasing; their on-line attitude and of course what they have to say. All sterotyping to be sure. When I looked at Rebecka's picture, I knew for sure it was her without even looking at who posted the picture. And I don't think this is a BAD picture of you....just in a general sense, this is how I imagined you would look.
OH - and I WILL post one of me, but there are just sooooo many to choose from.....give me a few days
Geeky has its own place in the unflattering category, Mark. But I don't think that picture is as unflattering as it could be. You can do better. Please try. I'm counting on you.
True... other people probably have more unflattering pictures of me, but I don't get copies of them.
How about this one? The "losers" in a best beard contest at work had to shave them in various ways (decided upon by the winner) and keep it that way for the full day. I had to do stripes .
I cant take a good picture to save my life. And you couldnt pay me enough to put an ugly picture up.
See the figure rolling down the mountain. Yep that's me. First time skiing, i barely learn to walk in them, don't really know how to stop so i go for the bunny hill.
One of the top 5 stupidest things I've done lately. It was fairly fun and people got to enjoy watching it.
Calico- The smile on your face makes me believe you don't dislike kids as much as you say
Sorry I'm not as brave as you guys I hate hate most pictures of myself. Ha Ha it seems I like pictures of myself when I'm a few beers in
Nosila - I don't like holding babies at all. Makes me very nervous. That's my great niece Peyton. What else would her name be? Every other kid I meet seems to have that name, boy or girl. Sheesh, think of another name people! LOL
I have a good one of Nosila and I, but don't want to post it without her permission.
Ok, I'll show one. While watching a comedy performance of a man and woman dressed as and acting like chickens, at the New York Renaissance Fair last year, one of them came up to me and placed their hat on my head.
This is from a Halloween party we went to. We used to have a Dalmation and this was in honor of her. I don't know why I'm not smiling though.
Well if you think that's cute, you should see me without the airbrushing effect, LOL
Computer sharp - hilarious! calico - you look like a natural mom holding that baby :)
I hated this photo. I look like a cranky old man that got kicked by his horse! Oh wait..... that's what really happened. So I am a cranky old man with a dead horse!
LOL ~ that was a good one, John C ~ you made me spew my coffee out through my nose. Too funny~
Love all the photos; great thread, Rebecka!
Bessie - I only held her for as long as it took to take that picture. Then right back to my niece she went. Did you notice how scared the baby looks? LOL
Calico you hold my kids! You even held Brady when he was little but not for too long!
Mof3 - Your kids aren't infants. Over 8 months or so I'm ok. Peyton was only about four months old there.
Calico - I have a picture of you holding Brady who was probably about 7 months old!
Looking at these photos reminds me what a fun bunch of folks live around here!
p.s. Daddy says that if Mommy takes me to get that poodle haircut again she is in BIG Trouble. He says I should just be fluffy and normal and cute, and that that clip does not suit my personality. What do you think? Do you like the Continental clip on a poodle? Or does it make me look "like a shaved" rat (Dad's words)?
Iggy - you and I have never met, but I for one like a puppy cut on a poodle. That Continental clip makes you look mean. (I wouldn't blame you for being mean with a haircut like that, LOL).
But, like anything else, you have to try it first . . .
Iggles: I agree with Daddy. Fluffy, normal and cute is good. The Phyllis Dyler look...not so much.
Going through a bunch of old pictures yesterday I found some rather interesting pictures of myself. I can't post them though because we didn't bother scanning anything that wasn't going to be used for a collage. We'll get to the rest of the pictures another time.
Not nice, GC. He's family...and we don't make fun of family...unless we're talking about your cousins.
Oh, Oliver....you are being silly...but I like it!! Signed Miss Kitty P.S: Don't tell Tigger I said that!
I have gotten more laughter out of Iggy on this site than any other subject. This would be a good thread to bring back the haircut pic from a while back.
This one?
I didn't look that bad, did I?
(In case you didn't realize it this is a bump for those shy souls who have yet to post!!)
Poor Mr. Iggles!! I should show this to my Rocko and when he is bad tell him this is what he is going to look like when I am done with him. LOL
Come on Mr. Iggles...funniest picture I've ever seen..I hope you're going to a different hair salon now, LOL. I wouldn't let whoever did this to you ever think about getting close with a scissor or clippers.
That was Mommy who cut my hair like that, Bessie. ("How hard can it be?")
More funny pics from anyone else??? Pleease?
Love,
Iggy
Mr Iggles....I think you looked very unique. Mommy just channelled her artistic side thru the clippers or scissors she used on you. But if you're unhappy with the results of her expression, being a dog, it's up to you to take the offending shears to the back yard, dig a deep hole, drop those bad boys in, cover it up and continue to look innocent & adorable.
after i fell off my bike and landed on some concrete over on willow grove street
this photo was taken in the bathroom of the hackettstown hospital
Wow!!! SeeintheReality...I had the pleasure of meeting you recently and never realized you had lost so much weight. You were a handsome devil then but even handsomer now and I bet you feel a lot better too!
Well thank you very much Joyful. And yes I do feel 10 times better. More energy, which leads to more motivation and self confidence. I can't sit still very long without wanting to go for a hike or something.
Here is the most recent picture I have.
Seein' - even at your heavier weight you still had a very attractive face. Now you're the total package I imagine. ;-). (I'm not flirting just being truthful. I'm with the man of my dreams.) :-D
Eric, ouch! I hope you're all better!
