Absolutely the best... Found my DD's Brain damage that Hospitals and neurologists could not even begin to look for / at. (1994).. DD is doing normal.
Several hospitals here in NJ and in other states had no clue.
Very conservative no frills man..Young (early 50's by now)
I'll second Dr. Lorraine Lazar in the Goreyeb Childrens Center of Morristown Hospital. Only a little bit further than 15 miles.
Hello I am also looking for a new neurologist for my 2.5 year old with a cyst as well as developmental delays. Please let me know of any doctors who specialize in these areas. Thank you.
Are you looking for a neurologist or a child developmental specialist? For developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder I would recommend the child development center in Morristown. My daughter has ADHD symptoms, and I started at a neurologist. He wasn't very helpful and very medical. A child developmental specialist has a better bed size manner and they often help with family resources. Just a thought. It also depends on what your child's needs are.
I would NOT recommend Dr. Grossman! His " bedside manner" is downright rude , he didnt bother looking at my daighter"s MRI- just read the radiologist's report, and he misdiagnosed my daughter with a headache when in reality she has a lesion on her skull! We now go to CHOP for treatment monthly. It is far, but totally worth it!
I am looking for someone with a very good bedside manner who has knowledge and can assist with the development delays in some capacity, however, our main goal is to find someone to monitor his cyst. If anyone has specific recommendations, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again.
You may need to go further than 15 miles. Dr Lara Morse in West Orange is excellent, but a bit of a drive. She is the 4th different neurologist we've seen since my son was small, and the best one. The previous Director of Special Services from Hackettstown school district had a family member who saw Dr Morse, that's where we got the recommendation.
