New Furniture Store In Town

My husband and I were recently in the market for a new family room sectional and of course did the ususal looking through the ads to see who had the best deal. I have to say that we didn't really want to have to spend the money in the first place, but we had no choice as our old sectional was virtually falling apart. We just happened to be driving up Mountain Avenue and were approaching what used to be hoffman flooors building, and saw the signs NOW OPEN for a furniture store, so we stopped in to see what they had. We were invited into the store, and were allowed to browse without any "pitching" and then a gentleman introduced himself as Richard and said welcome to our store and asked if there was anything he could do for us. We asked if we could browse a bit more and that we would ask for him should we need anything further. He then gave us some simple direction, and explained their tagging policy, what was final sale, and what was special orders etc., and their discount deals which once we applied them we found to be lower than any of the ads that I had seen. Now I can't tell one brand from another so I am simply going by what I see in a picture versus what I actually saw on their sales floor and they looked exactly the same to me yet there was usually a few hundred dollars difference. We made a selection and the price that we were quoted was far less than we expected to pay and we were told that he would order this item for us. We told him that we would need it by the following weekend and it was delivered to us the following Saturday by two very polite men who wore booties over their shoes and placed it exactly as we requested...( after a few adjustments lol). I have to say that we were a bit skeptical dealing with a brand new business in town but after we did a bit of checking we had found that At Home furiture had been in business in Morris locations for over 20 years. All we can say is thank you Richard and also thank you to Julio and Marco for your patience with us during the delivery. You guys exceed our expectations and we'll be back for the living room.

I'm glad you said something, because I pass that store a lot and have never stopped in. For some reason I always expected it would pricey. Thanks for the info! =-)

Great, thanks for sharing! We bought our bedroom set from them about 8 years ago when they were in the Denville/Mountain Lakes area, and then our dining room set when they were in Randolph about 6 years ago. We're very happy with our furniture, and the quality if pretty good. Affordable, nice-looking, and good service. Can't beat that!
Good luck here in Hackettstown!
