Meow Mix Market Selections
Does anyone use this cat food? We recently switched to it from Fancy Feast because its more convenient as it comes in a disposable cup you just peel the lid and its cheaper. Well tonight (Smokey is about half way through the case) she starts gaging i thought it was a hair ball, went over to pet her and calm her down sure enough she gags up a bone ! A skinny but about 2 inch long bone ! It took her over 2 mins to get this up has anyone else had this problem? I went back into the recycling got the lid and intend on writing to the company in the am but was curious if any one else has experienced this. I am switching back to Fancy Feast i don't want her chocking on bones while trying to eat her dinner.

I only give my cat Fancy Feast, no fish, and only the classic. She's has a lot of food problems and this seems to work best for her. I do remember when I used to give the cats fish, there was usually thin bones in the food and it was never a problem, a two inch bone seems odd though. Now if you were putting the food on a plate and mashing it up with a fork, you would have seen the bone, LOL. So much for convenience.
