yes good info,
and there is biblical support for moderate drinking. the Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy recommends that he drink a little wine to help settle his nervous stomach. Timothy had a stressfull life and had stomach problems as a result.
it is no surprise anymore why French people as a group have a much lower incidence of heart disease. We now know it is from the red wine.
We all need to lighten up here with each other, I mean really, these hard economic times are screaming at us to take a step back, have a couple of drinks and relax a little bit.
i have always believed in the words of Tom Lehrer...and i quote..." i would rather have a bottle in front of me...than have a frontal lobotomy"... good words for the wise
and another good quote...by Frank Sinatra..." i feel sorry for people who dont drink...when they wake up in the morning thats the best they will feel all day"
“I drink too much. The last time I gave a urine sample it had an olive in it.” - Rodney Dangerfield

we want beer...a beer protest during prohibition... the law against drinking that was finally repealed...

furthermore...here is Frank Sinatra...having a drink with Dean Martin...during the days when they most popular...and as Frank said..." i feel sorry for people who dont drink...when they get up in the morning...thats the best they will feel all day"

absolutely no way i could leave out the late great W.C.Fields...he consumed adult beverages...his fine comment was this..." I once met a woman...why she drove me to drink...and i have been forever grateful "
In the picture with Frank and Dean, are comedian Mort Sahl (next to Frank) and actor, singer, songwriter, comedian, movie producer George Jessel (next to Dean).

the late great Jackie Gleason...was well known...to indulge in adult beverages...he would exclaim..." how sweet it is" with a drink in his hand...and he had several drinking excursions with Frank Sinatra...while playing billiards...
