route 46 west

What is going on from fairfield to route 80. My husband can't get home. Does anyone have any information on Rt 80 westbound.

I'm guessing it may have to do with flooding...Parts of Fairfield are prone to flooding.

Per NJDOT - As of 5:52pm, there's Heavy traffic and Weather related on I-80 in both directions between Exit 47A - I-280 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp and Exit 55 - NJ 62/Union Blvd in Totowa 35-40 minute delay.

Mysty, aren't you the one that got hit by the SUV in Shop Rite parking lot? How are you feeling? Did the police ever respond back?

No I did not get a response back from the police. I have badly bruised legs and hip, etc. The police did go to Shoprite to watch the videos but I have not heard anything. At least you asked.

It maked me upset about how people can turn this around and joke about it. This is a serious offense.

Well, that would explain why my commute home from Parsippany was a breeze tonight. I get on 80 at 202, which is exit 47. I guess everyone was stuck behind me!

I don't think anyone was joking about it---it was just that you didn't call the police right away, and posted here instead. I'm sure that everyone on here wishes you well. There are no ill wishes for you

I agree with cosmo 100%. For sustaining injuries as bad as you say you have it's just hard to believe that the next step wasn't a 911 call...

Cosmo, you are correct. The fact that mysty, with the injuries he/she received, even thought about posting on HL is what got my attention. If he/she was looking for a witness ( which after all the ?'s mysty said that is why they posted) asking for someone to come forward, I would understand. But all mysty did was tell the story of what happened.
