Toyota Recalls - J in Vin Number
I have a 2009 RAV 4....but since my Vin number begins with a J (made in Japan), dealer tells me there are no recalls against it. Why are the vehicles made in Japan exempt from the problems occuring? Because of different suppliers, or quality of work?

Different supplier...
You must have the Denso pedal not the CTS pedal.
Denso pedal has 4 bolts on the left side......
Some made in Kentucky, VIN 4T1, like the Camry I had could have either pedal. My Camry had the Denso pedal.
