Parade today was great!
This was my first time attending the St Patricks Day parade in town...........and I really enjoyed it. It made me feel really good to live in a town that supports the local organizations and businesses. My 3yrd old son loved it too...especially the candy that people threw to the kids! Well done everyone!
I agree! It was great to see the kids and other participants out despite the less-than-desirable weather. Loved the marching band. Anyone else disappointed the kids from the musical didn't sing like for "Grease" last year? Must be saving it for the show!
@Curly, the candy was great with my five year old.
Great turn out for the parade today despite the rainy weather. I am thankful for such a great community that I live and work in. I think it was awesome to see how many people came out with such bad weather. I also want to thank the Hackettstown Bid Parade Committee for all their hard work to put on such a great event. I look forward to having my company be apart of next year's parade. www.Aquatech-USA.com
A big thank you to all who braved the crappy weather to support yesterdays St Patricks day parade. As a born and bred Dubliner I wish to thank Greg & Katie Donaldson for including me & my family in our first ever participation in a Paddy's day parade...Go raibh milath maith agat.Greg,Katie,Aidam agus Matthew..Slainte!
Does anyone have any pictures to post? We were all the way at the end with the scouts, so we didn't get to see much! The Daisy Scouts had a lot of fun despite the soggy conditions :)

Colette, the girls looked great! The BID and Heart & Sohl Photography taking pictures of the whole parade yesterday. Kep checking the BID website and Heart and Sohl website for their link. I took a couple but not alot.

Oh wow, wish I went but was pressed for time after watching my niece for a while. I heard the noise from my apt though. Cool pics.
You were across the street from me, too, Christine. And you got my son in the Marching Band picture. Thanks!
Would like to compliment the HHS Marching Band. As a parent of a former Marching Band member, this is the best the band has sounded in a great number of years. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the Memorial Day parade.
It was nice to get out of our dark house (no power) and get in on the festivities! Nicely done. I'm not a bit Irish but LOVE those bagpipes : )
LOL CA! You didnt see me yelling "PARADE BUTTONS" $2! I went up and down 4 times selling them. LOL
Rich, How did I miss you? I can send you the pictures if you like. Send me your email.
We were quite surprised how many spectators showed up for such a dreary day? I passed on all your comments to the Committee and they wee grateful for them. thanks!
