Glass replacement

My son was knocking on one of windows today while I was putting out the garbage. And it broke! Thankfully he wasn't cut. It's a double paned glass, do you think I can have someone come out and put another glass in, or do I need a whole new window? If I can just get the glass replaced, who do you recommend? It has a top part and bottom part. THANKS!!

Is it a thermal window? If so, there was most likely a gas inside the window (argon I believe). It acts as a thermal barrier so heat or a/c doesn't escape. Replacing just the glass will just give you issues later.

If it's a thermal window, do you have a model# and/or manufacturer's name on the window? If so, you may be able to order replacement parts. It depends on the style of the window too - double hung, etc.

Replacing 1 window is a pretty small job for many contractors. Try a handyman. Sorry but I don't have anyone I can recommend though.

Warren County Glass for sure.

I can't find the model # or anything on the window. I will call Warren County Glass and see if they can do anything, otherwise I will try and bring it to Home Depot and see if they can help. It's one thing after another over here; no heat, no water pressure, now no window. :-/
