Trinity Thrift Store in H-town
I was wondering if anyone ever donated to them? and if anyone knows if they'd take board games. The games are in great condition and have all the pieces, just are collecting dust in my house not being used. Any info would be great, Thanks!!
They don't take board games. I brought a bunch down not long ago. They were all great and had all pieces; but I guess they don't want to have to count everything and check for completeness.
There was a woman there though who could use them for her church group and I was directed to her. She was a lovely lady who was so excited, she kissed me.
They should know who she is and how to get in touch with her.
I have donated a few things to them(mostly clothing) and have bought quite a few things there. It is a great place to shop. You go in and never know what you are going to find. Good luck!!!
Classroom teachers also love them, they are great for rainy days when the kids can't go
out for recess.
I think games would be very easy to give away on Freecycle or posting for free in the Classifieds on HL if you can't get rid of them .
I also have donated there and shopped there. I agree with mansfield mama. I have seen board games there. I would still try them regardless.
I hve an 8 year old who loves to play board games. If the Trinity option doesn't work, please post a list of the games that I could pick up. Thanks!
are they "kid" games? if so, try Kid's Junction consignment shop. They have movies, etc. for sale, so they might take games.
Yes, some are kid games, but I also have like Scattegories and some other bigger kid games. Thanks for all your ideas!
meow1975, I'll check out the games I have and post them!
Second Time Around sells games. If you want to make some extra cash bring them in to consign them. Give me a call 684-8000
