Remembering 911
I was on youtube and was watching some videos from Sep 11, 2001 and sad remembering that day, but also there is so much on there about all the conspiracy behind 911. Wondering what everyone else's thoughts are on all of it. It's almost like people have forgotton, but seeing just a video brings you right back to the day. With all the stuff about who was to really blame for what happenend on that day really kind of has me convinced into thinking it was all planned right here. It is how many years later and we still haven't found Bin Laden and still have our milatary over there, just doesn't seem right.

abbadabbadooooooo Quite possibly the saddest and most surreal day of my life. My heart goes out to every victim and their families. The conspiracy theorists and the "Loose Change" videos are just insensitive and make me sick.
Dubs Riss its not that we have forgotten 9-11 we have every day lifes to lead every day and it was a very sad day as sad as 12-7 we went after the s.o.b's but as always we let our selfs get bogged down the dogs of war were kept chained up and the news media is in the way its time to pull out bring our people home and to be aleart at home and abroad and ready
CagedAnimal I haven't forgotten and it's true-one video of the events of that day and it's like it's happening all over again. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. I have my own theories about how that was able to happen. What is truly distressing to me is the amount of hate it took to carry out that act and others like it. Even amongst their own countrymen-no one is immune when a group is that convinced that they are right and they have God's blessing to carry out acts of terror. I was very angry for a long time after 9/11. Now I just pray for everyone's safety and that one day there will be some peace.

By the way, there are tons of videos that "prove" we never went to the moon, and countless other conspiracy theory videos. Common sense should tell you they are hogwash.
Rich Rich - I believe Muriel would be your first cousin, once-removed. If Muriel had any kids, I believe those kids would be your second cousins.
I don't believe the conspiracy theories at all. However, I believe it was a test of new technology versus old technology. Bin Laden is out there in the mountains somewhere living like cavemen yet even with the best technology in the world that money can buy, we can't seem to find him. I haven't lost complete hope yet as it seems we are catching more higher ups. I definitely think the media is slowing down our progress reporting some of this information prematurely.
I still maintain that because we could not locate Bin Laden in a reasonable timeframe, we invaded Iraq as a smokescreen to distract from the real mission. I just hope we get out of these crazy parts of the world soon and if we're going to put any effort anywhere, to take down Al Qaeda like our life depends on it.
Ryan's right.... first, second, third, etc. cousins are in the same generation as you. If you have a common grandparent, you're first cousins, common great-grandparents makes you second cousins. The number of difference in the generations is the number of times "removed" you are.

Clyde Potts i had a close relative who lived and worked in Paterson New Jersey before and after 9/11...he and his co-workers had an interesting neighbor...who liked to play cards...and have casual conversations...the guy always carried 5 cell phones...he turned out to be one of the hijackers who flew the jets into the World Trade Center on 9/11...

this article still stands in my mind as one of the best written eyewitness accounts of 9/11...and i agree with the statement and viewpoint...
