Easter Egg Hunt?

Does anyone know if M+M's will be doing the Easter Egg Hunt this year?

The Easter Egg Hunt will be on 3/27. But no longer at M&M. Warren County Convention and Business Bureau is taking it over, although M&M will be donating candy. The Hunt will be at Hatchery Field.

I am guessing parking will be in the Hatchery Hill School lot and the hunt will be on the field along fifth avenue

I don't see any other specifics about the Warren County one in any of the links. Do you have to register or just show up with child and basket? This will be his first one.

this is now posted on the visit warren site! Gimmie a break---this isnt a hunt at all then...Just a bunch of people handing out candy! Am in incorrect to assume that ?

Due to weather we will only be handing out candy.
There will be no actual egg hunt.

what a let down......no actually hunt....I was there with my 16mo old and my 9yr old and they were only handed out candy and a ticket to maybe win something.....no winners here. they had a bounce house which made my 9yr old happy. but no hunting for eggs was a let down to alot of kids there. what weather made them not do the hunt...at least the sun is out...this is the 2nd yr in a row no hunt dont think i will be wasting anymore time on this one

first time at hackettstown's easter egg hunt..........will not be going back. they advertised an egg hunt. we stood on line in the cold to be handed a bunch of candy into our bag. woo hoo free candy...who cares?!!!!!!!!! we wanted to run around and find eggs. i am a SAHM and i dont get to go out and do much with my 5 year old since i have 7 month twins. i was so excited to get out and do this egg hunt with my son as my sister was watching my twins. WHAT A BIG WASTE OF TIME!!!! my son kept asking me when we were going to hunt for eggs...i feel like i disappointed and lied to him due to this false advertisement. THANKS FOR A HORRIBLE TIME FOR FREE CANDY I WILL THROW AWAY IN THE GARBAGE.

Would you please do something for your kids! Make your own hunt with your own plastic eggs Made in China.

I'm so glad we didnt go to this hunt afterall............the kids love the thrill of the hunt alongside other kids, the candy is secondary. Last week we went to the Mount Olive hunt...........and it was a GREAT one! I reco to everyone for next year. We just came back from the Allamuchy hunt (sponsored by ladies auxillary) and it too was a great one. My 3yr old son loved both.

I drove by around 10:15. A line of people a mile long waiting in line for candy. Turned around and left. What was wrong with the weather anyway that caused them to cancel the hunt? Chilly, yes - but otherwise gorgeous.

Has anyone been to an actual Easter Egg "hunt" in last 25 years? I took my kids to a few in Jersey and Fla. and it was just as posted here -- either a field full of plastic eggs to pick up, or someone handing out candy.

Took my kiddos to the one at Field of Dreams in Independence. You know, people sound sooo ungrateful sometimes, sheesh. Yes, it was a field of eggs but we do our own little one on Easter morning, and it's not like I paid $20 for it or something. Additionally, they also got a bag of goodies. They are 7 and had a good time.

It was an egg drop, not really a hunt, eggs in the field. I get it through the school system which is how I heard about it (email) if you want, I can post next time, so you know!

just make ur own easter egg hunt. what the big deal now a days people nag about everything! get a big group of ur childrens friend invite them over and have a big egg hunt in the back yard

dn- arent you pleasant? Please dont judge what I (or others) choose to want to do with our children. I am well aware of my options regarding activities at home or activities in the community. There is a time/place for both...........since when is it wrong for people to want to participate in community events with our children? We happen to be new to the area and love the idea of finding FRIENDLY thiings to do in our area and meeting new people.
