Golds Gym
Anybody know what happened to Teri the Pilates instructor. Her name is off the schedule.

janetOne of the girls at the desk told me she took a leave of absence. She is not at either gym.
i checked out the new golds gym in flanders while i was waiting for my script to be ready at shop rite and it is half the size with half the amount of equipment. i do not see how they get away with charging the same rate for that gym there is no basketball court or sauna. There is no cardio cinema as listed on there website. There is 2 bathroom stalls compared to hackettstowns 8 stalls. There is no lady golds workout area there is no juice bar how does a gym charge the same for these locations when one is state of the art and the other compares closely to planet fitness which charges $10 a month this truly baffles my mind. When i asked the woman at the counter why it says on the website they have a cardio theater she replied i dont know but we dont and we are not getting one. Any one considering changing to the new facility i suggest you do not or at least take a tour and see everything you would be jipped out of the only upside i saw there was toni i guess she is sharing time between the gyms i miss her classes i cant do them any more with my back :(
My boyfriend joined the Flanders gym during the presale. While it is a nice gym, it is lacking in many areas. He was told he could use other facilities in NJ whenever he wanted except for the one in Hackettstown because it was "too close"... not true. It turns out there is some special usage if you are out of the area over 50 miles away, say on vacation and it is only for something like 2 weeks of the year. This clause is written in the contract, shame on him for trusting the Golds worker and not reading the contract until it was too late to cancel.
I was going to join but have since changed my mind. Too much $ for too little.
Planet Fitness... do they have classes?

and yes you get 14 guest passes a year to use @ any gym 50 miles or more away from your gym
Any new info about Terri the Pilates Instructor? She is not on the schedule this week either ................. I called the gym and the receptionist was very vague about where she was. I can't be sure, but it seemed like she was possibly with-holding information.
She DID say she saw Terri in the gym on Saturday. Can anyone confirm this?
i just called and asked and the reply i got was i do not really know the answer to that great customer service!
Happy Girl - I was told that she took a leave of absence as stated above. I've not heard that she is back nor will be coming back.
Shoebie - thanks for the thumbs down on the Flanders gym - I was going to try it out but now I won't waste my time! Glad we are not missing anything!
