Yankee Stadium

Yankee StadiumI went to the new Yankee Stadium today with my son. Even though we are die hard Mets fans, I had to check out the new stadium. (Plus work gave me free tickets) I loved it - thought it was beautiful! Has anyone on here been there? What did you think?

Loved it, hated Monument Park (die hard Yankees fan) it was like a tomb :-(

I'm hoping to get to see the Phillies this year as well. I've never gone there. I can't believe how much cheaper the tickets are there! I haven't seen prices that low in New York in years!

The only negative was the prices - which I expect to be insane at ball games but WOW! A $9 beer is now only 12oz instead of the usual 16oz. I got a soda, fries and a kids size hot dog for my son and I to share = $18! WOW!

Been there twice. I love the stadium but thought it didn't have that "feel". I guess all the nostalgia from the old stadium. I actually had a tear in my eye seeing the old stadium without seats.

I was there Wednesday with my dad my brothers and my best friend...I LOVED IT!! We had such a good time and it was soo beautiful! I couldn't believe there were restaurants, bars, the museum and so much more stuff. I surprised my dad last minute with tickets for yesterday for a father/daughter day and WHAT A DAY TO GO!! Beautiful day and what a game!

It's so nice there...I would reccomend anyone and everyone going to check it out.
