Bing versus Google
Google provides the ability to search news over certain time periods. Bing doesn't.
I believe Google is much more robust.
"Decision engine"? I don't need it to decide for me. It does the exact same thing all the rest do including what their silly ads say about the competitors. Not a product differentiator. I'd take Google any day.
www.alltheweb.com is awesome as well. Probably the most reliable, and extremely comprehensive internet search (worldwide if you want it).
I have actually been trying Bing though -- not bad at all. I'm just so used to the clean screen of google, that Bing seems busy and cluttered.
I agree, though that the marketing of Bing is a turn-off -- right, I don't need a search engine to make my decisions, thank you. :-)
Google is the only one in my opinion right now. I am a product analyst and there is no better search engine. I tried Bling...didn't like it. Results were not as good.
For ever and always i will be a Googler. Its fast clean and effective. Google just puts it out there, unlike yahoo and others that hide "questionable material" like torrents for example. Google FTW
For me, Dogpile.com is the best. It is a multi-search engine and Google is one of the engines that Dogpile uses. The benefit is it searches multiple other ones at the same time. I have used it for many years.
