Dog wandering on Ridge Road, Allamuchy

On Monday evening I was on my way to pick up dinner from a local eatery and saw an older Germany Shepherd dog on Ridge Road. I pulled up to it to get a better look - he did have a collar and tags, had a couple of mats on his coat and was an older dog. I had my dog in the car, so did not get out, but about 10 minutes later I was back and drove around looking for him and did not see him, so hoped he had gone home.

Last night I heard that there is an older German Shepherd dog at the Pound on Ryan Road, but that he is "boarding" there - this seems like a coincidence.

If this dog was lost, I don't think (hope) he was dumped because he had a collar with tags.
