LOMB coupons
Just wondering if anyone has any Land of Make Believe Coupons they won't be using and are willing to let go of? We've got a 2 year old and 4 year old and would love to take them this summer. TIA!
I've never heard of any coupons for Land of Make Believe. . . where would they have come from?
I usually see them on Craigslist...people selling them, not giving them away. Still cheaper than going full price though...
I have the entertainment book. Will look and you are welcome to have. I wont be using them.
I was just talking to a friend of mine that doesn't live in the area. He was talking about things he and his wife were going to their two young kids to do over the summer. I suggested LOMB and he said that he and his wife were going to take them there last year, but decided against it after seeing reviews of how dirty it is.
I told him that I have never been there but people are always talking about it on here, so I thought it was good there. So tell me guys and gals, what is the concensus? Clean/dirty, expensive/reasonable, worth a drive/not worth it (they live in Union County)?
BTW, the other places they are going/considering going are Sesame Place, Hershey Park and Camel Beach.
My two girls absolutely love it. It's clean, fun, and very reasonable. As a matter of fact I'm planning on buying season tickets this year. Its MUCH cleaner than Sesame Place, and I love that it is manageable (size-wise). As with any other place that caters to the very young, there are sometimes "bathroom accidents" in the pool area (only had this happen once when we were there) and it was handled quickly and well. Everyone was able to return to the pool 45 minutes later. You also can bring in a picnic lunch and your own drinks, which makes it a great value. Gets 2 thumbs up from us!
My kids worked there last year and one is going back this year. The bathrooms are very clean as well as the grounds. They are a very very strict park so I find that untrue of those remarks. I have not found it to be dirty. I brought my kids when they were younger because it is a safe park and small emough for the kids to run around and check back in with you. I would bring them there any day over Dorney Park ... yuk that's the worst. Yes i think it is pricey, but we get in free since my children work there.
Hershey Park is my favorite ... clean and the nicest friendliest people there.
Hershey Park is in a totally different league than the others. We love it there and go every year. Other than that, I agree with Colette's assesment on the other parks.
I get season tickets and while i do not think it is the cleanest place it is much cleaner than sesame place. I live in Hope so it is extremely convenient for me. It is small but there is more than enough to keep the little ones busy for hours.
My son absolutely loves it there. He can be a bit of a daredevil and at full scale parks he always wants to go on rides that are too big for him. At LOMB, he can go on everything - we never have to tell him "No". Also, the lines are usually quite manageable. And since it is relatively small, we can walk from one end to the other over and over and he doesn't get overtired. These are very important points because he has developmental issues and can have a mini-meltdown when denied what he wants.
The park is clean and we have always found the staff to be polite and attentive. We are considering getting season passes this year since we went so many times last year, we ended up paying more than passes would have cost.
If any one else has a Land of Make Believe Coupon I would be happy to have it. My friend and I took my grandson last summer, he had the greatest time!
Just the right size and close to home. I had brought his Mom there when she was little.
In regards to boht LOMB and Sesame Place, I would rather go to Sesame Place. My daughter is small for her age and Sesame Place I dont have to worry about her or the rides there my husband and I or by herself can go on the rides. LOMB my brother in law told me that they have cleaned it up alot but my daughter is still too small for the rides by herself. As for as clean, SP was very clean as well as I heard the same for LOMB .
I'm pretty sure I have a LOMB coupon in my Entertainment Guide. I won't be using it, so if anyone wants it, let me know.
I am going this sat so if any one has extra coupons or knows of any where besides the entertainment book to get them please let me know.
Next week my daughter and granddaughter are coming in from out of town and I would love to take them to the LOMB - so if anyone still has coupons please let me know.

I am not positive, but think that the radio station WRNJ gives them out as prizes, I would call there and see if they have any. It couldn't hurt to ask.

Does anyone have a free land of make beleive coupon? I would very gratefully love it if you're not using it. Thank you!
They are in the Entertainment Books again this year. I already gave mine away to another HL poster.
does anyone know if i can use them from past seasons? i have 5 complimentary coupons.. i just never got there last summer.. i will call them if nobody knows..
Darluggh: If they are from last years entertainment book..I don't think so. I tried to use one from last year's book to somewhere else this year and they would not accept it. Won't hurt to call..maybe you have a different coupon..
yes it is a different one. its a ticket from LOMB that says 'complimentary".. there are just enough hours in the day sometimes :) calling them now. keep u posted!
AS long as they don't have a date I would use them. I have used the same kind of tickets over the past few years.
If they are the blue complimentary ones without a date on them then yes you can use them, they never expire. I have had those in the past and they take them, no problems.
Question: where does everybody get the "intertainment book" from? Looking of LOMB coupons also if anyone has any left.
Belle: The Ladies Auxiliary of the Hackettstown Fire Dept. sells Entertainment books. They might just have a few left.
Belle, if you go to the Entertainment book's website, you can get the 2011 book for only $10, or if you buy the 2012 book now, you get the 2011 book for free:

Thank you Joyful and Rich.
Joyfyl- do you have the number or address of the Fire Dept, and do you by any chance know how much they are selling it for, trying to avoid the shipping cost.
Belle: Try to call one of the Fire Dept. Auxiliary Ladies..name of Sue who sold me mine..Her number is 908-850-6422. She will be able to tell you if they have any left.
I planning to take my 3 yr old boy to LOMB next month. Can anyone help with coupon or other discount codes if they are not going to use it this year.
Thanks,

Listen in each morning to local radio station WRNJ-1510. they are giving away family packs of coupons to Land of Make Believe if you are the winner.
I have one coupon left from entertainment book. It is buy one adult get one adult free. I will give whole book with lots of coupons for other park and rest. for 10.00$
email me if interesting at _sanket@yahoo.com
I live in bethlehem, PA if some one is in town, I will deliver too.
I know it takes having your radio tuned each morning to WRNJ but I have been listening each day and they are giving away family packets of four each morning all week to the lucky caller..All you have to do is tell them what you think of Land of Make Believe..people are using words like Awesome, Fantastic, etc. and you are the winner.. How long they will be doing this..do not know..
I've tried numerous times every morning this week to win the tickets with no luck so far. Hopefully they will have more next week.
LMOB MIGHT BE CONSIDERED "DIRTY" by anyone expecting it to be just like Hershey or even Great Adventure. Concrete is not present at LMOB...there is a dirt ground and thats probably what they refer too when they say its dirty.
My kids are 15 and 17 and still remember going and still secretly want to return...
Its small, the people are very nice, and its well maintained. Its good fun for the price and you can bring your picnic lunch along with you...leave it a table and come back later and find it still there...where else can you do that???
Disney it aint!
