thanks for listening

Hotmail went to the dogs the instant it was sold to Microsoft some years ago. Try google mail.

I love hotmail, had it for over 10 years. Haven't had a problem yet. Maybe you need to upgrade it?

Yogel, I have had no significant problems with hotmail. Recently, however, "it" ("they"?) asked me to upgrade/update to Microsoft Live, and it seemed as though I couldn't get to my email unless I did. So, I did, including creating a new user name/password, logging in, etc. Still, after that, at first, I couldn't get to my regular email at all. Eventually, though, I went into hotmail through msn.com and was able to log in and get back to my email view.

This took a matter of 10 minutes total, and I haven't had a problem since then. The only thing I've noticed is that I get a bit more junk mail than usual (maybe one a day, in the junk email box), but I just delete it. I don't know if this is similar to what you're experiencing, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Good luck!

My hotmail has been okay lately. I dont like the new format they changed to a few months ago. I liked the old layout better.

My hotmail is not working since this morning. Otherwise, haven't had problems.

I received the following email this morning from "Windows Live Hotmail." If you received it, too, I would not recommend responding to it, as it is most assuredly spam. Anyone else get this?

Uh yeah hopeful that sounds like a TOTAL scam. They know you use the account by how often you log in, there is no need to do anything else. Someone is trying to scam your password.

Re: hotmail sucksquestion is how do we get the folks at microjerk to change it back to the way it was 10 years ago when it worked fine and everyone liked it?

me they were a tad fewer people using the internet and email programs back then.

My yahoo mail account was quite messed up for about 4 days with similar sounding problems.

i'll hold back on my Apple raving and just give a vote for Gmail.
and lookout for Google Waves to use with your account.

I personally don't like Gmail. I know they're not alone, but I hate how they are so "in your face" with advertisements generated from key words from within MY personal emails. I know it's only a computer reading/scanning my emails for key words but it just freaks me out.

I too don't care for the newest Hotmail interface and preferred the old one. But that's the way it is so we either take it or leave it. :(
