THE UPS STORE - Retail Sales Associate

The UPS Store in Hackettstown is seeking customer service associate.

The job opening is part-time, and can become full time for the right person.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Greeting customers with a friendly attitude
• Identifying customer’s needs and offer our services to best fit their needs
• Answer customer’s questions about specific products and services
• Complete customer purchases using our MPOS system
• Ability to assess shipping item dimensions for packaging requirements
• Measuring boxes using measuring tape to determine shipping dimensions
• Ability to ascertain shipping quote for customer using software-based shipping calculator
• Conduct price and feature comparisons for best value for customer needs.
• Packaging items for shipment
• Operating a Copying Machine to copy, print, fax and scan
• Answering telephone and providing friendly & accurate information to caller
• Receiving and manifest incoming packages for mailbox customers
• Other duties as assigned

General Requirements:

• Friendly customer service skills
• Good Computer Skills including but not limited to MS Office & Adobe CS
• Graphic ability to create camera ready print a plus
• Ability to learn and operate our MPOS system
• Ability to operate MS Office and Adobe CS Software
• Ability to life 50+ pounds
• Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift
• Good personal hygiene
• Reliable transportation
• Punctuality - reliable, and responsible
• Continued growth through computer aided training
• Ability to discuss all products and services available
