Position: Accounting Administrative Clerk
Location: Rockaway, NJ
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm
Hours: 7-3:30pm Monday - Friday, no overtime
Pay: $24 - $26.43/hour
What experience the Accounting Administrative Clerk should have:
• HS diploma required.
• Must have prior experience in a similar role with administrative, accounting and customer service support in the manufacturing field.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Experience with standard manufacturing accounting software such as Sage 50 or similar.
• Must be able to communicate well with internal departments and external customers.
• Pleasant personality with ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
• Due to the nature of business, candidates MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
What the Accounting Administrative Clerk will be doing:
• General Bookkeeper duties: Handle all aspects of accounting through General Ledger including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll
• Provide quotes on existing and spare parts – researching part numbers, price and inventory available in the system.
• Create internal paperwork to initiate new jobs.
• Invoice customers for completed and shipped items.
• Calculation of direct labor timesheets.
• Additional administrative support functions as required.
• Respond to customer inquiries on pricing.
