William Shakespeare Presentation 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Come celebrate the Bard’s 455th birthday! From humble beginnings in a Warwickshire village, William Shakespeare became England’s most famous author. Dr. Kerry Barnett of Centenary University will present an overview of William Shakespeare’s life and work. Overrepresentation of People w/Disabilities in US Jails & Prisons. 1/5 people in the US identify as having a developmental disability. This hidden disability leaves people vulnerable to crime. People with disabilities make up a bigger percentage in jails & prisons than in the general population. We’ll discuss why, identify this population & talk about alternatives that are being explored.
