Raffle at Centenary College 12:00 am - 5:00 pm
Centenary College will be running a raffle for a signed copy of New York Times best-selling young adult novelist Cassandra Clare's book, Clockwork Prince, and a signed, oversized display model until February 29, 2012. Proceeds will benefit Taylor Memorial Library at Centenary College. Raffle cost is $2 per ticket, 3 tickets for $5 and 8 tickets for $10. Candlelight Vigil 3:00 pm
Centenary College will hold a Candlelight Vigil in honor of Black History Month.
Mayhem Poets 10:00 pm
The Mayhem Poets, who are Spoken Word artists, will perform in the Soulful Cafe in the Edward W. Seay Administration Building. They Mayhem Poets were dubbed "an amazing ride" by the New York Times. These theatre-trained, comedically gifted, lyrical virtuosos seamlessly blend raw elements of hip hop, theatre, improve and stand-up comedy.
