Independence Booster Club Breakfast 8:00 am - 10:00 am

The Independence Booster Club will be hosting a Flapjack Breakfast to Benefit Independence Recreation at Applebee’s of Hackettstown. Tickets are $8 per person and must be purchased in advance. The meal includes: Pancakes, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs and a Beverage (coffee, juice, soda or tea). Tickets can be purchased during basketball games and Spring Sports Sign-ups at GMMS, the Independence Municipal Building during regular hours, or from Recreation Commissioners. St. Mary's Soup Kitchen 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

As a part of the Spanish Apostolate, a group of volunteers have organized a soup kitchen to serve lunch to the local needy in our Hackettstown community.

Cat Adoption Day - Pet Adoption League 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Come to PetSmart in Mount Olive and meet the beautiful cats and kittens available for adoption! Adult cats are spay/neuter, fiv/l tested negative, up to date on shots, worm and flea free and dental work done if our vet deemed it necessary. Kittens are fiv/l tested negative, up to date on shots (given their age), worm and flea free and come with a spay/neuter certificate good at a local vet. Memorial Service 2:00 pm

A Memorial Service for Phyllis Dupbernell will be held on Saturday February 18th. at 2:00pm in The Chapel at The House of The Good Sheperd.
